岭南心学思想在心理健康教育中的应用: 本土智慧与当代实践

  • Abstract: Centered on Chen Baisha’s “Learning of Self-realization” and Zhan Ruoshui’s “Recognizing the Principle of Heaven Everywhere”, Lingnan Xinxue (the Mind Philosophy of South of the Five Ridges) emphasizes the view of “unity of internal and external” which holds that “the mind has no internal-external distinction” and “ Li (the Principle) has no internal-external distinction”. Its core characteristics—such as the subjective consciousness of “the mind as the master”, the regulatory method of “calming the mind to recognize the Principle”, and the emphasis on “practice”—are highly consistent with the goals of contemporary mental health education in colleges and universities. At present, mental health education in colleges and universities is confronted with problems such as the insufficient cultural adaptability of Western theories and the conflict between students’ individualistic and collectivistic values. Lingnan Xinxue can provide a local solution to these issues. Combining the core ideas of Lingnan Xinxue, this paper explores its application paths in students’ self-cognition, emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, and the reconstruction of collectivism. From a systematic perspective, it also looks forward to the development of localized mental health education, aiming to provide insights for resolving cultural and value conflicts. 岭南心学以陈白沙“自得之学”与湛若水“随处体认天理”为核心,强调“心无内外”“理无内外”的内外合一观,其“心为主宰”的主体意识、“静坐体认”的调节方法与“重实践”的特质,与当代高校心理健康教育目标高度契合。当前高校心理健康教育面临西方理论文化适配性不足、学生个体主义与集体主义价值观冲突等问题,岭南心学可提供本土解决方案。本文结合岭南心学核心思想,探索其在学生自我认知、情绪调节、人际交往及集体主义重塑中的应用路径,并从系统视角展望本土化教育发展,为化解文化与价值观冲突提供思路。
