• Abstract: In recent years, the sustained decline in China’s fertility rate and accelerated aging process have formed a compounding effect. Against this backdrop, exploring the influencing mechanisms of fertility intentions among women of reproductive age holds significant importance for optimizing population structures. As a key psychological factor inhibiting reproductive decision-making, research on childbirth fear remains in its nascent stages domestically, urgently requiring systematic theoretical expansion and practical validation. This paper first synthesizes theoretical frameworks and empirical findings from global research on childbirth fear, then reviews the current research status. By analyzing existing limitations, it proposes future research directions for childbirth fear among women of reproductive age, aiming to provide references for localized theoretical construction and practical applications in this field. 近年来，我国生育率持续走低与老龄化进程加速形成叠加效应，在此背景下，探究育龄女性生育意愿的影响机制对优化人口结构具有重要意义。生育恐惧作为抑制生育决策的关键心理因素，其研究在国内尚处于起步阶段，亟待开展系统性的理论拓展与实证检验。本文首先梳理国内外生育恐惧研究的理论框架与实证成果，其次评述当前研究现状，并在分析现有研究不足的基础上，展望未来育龄女性生育恐惧研究的发展方向，为生育恐惧领域的本土化理论构建与实践应用提供参考。
