- Abstract: Based on Jungian psychology, this paper explores the symbolic meaning of the toad. Starting from the dream imagery of the author, it examines the diverse and complex factors that form the symbolism of the toad in the human psyche. The dimensions for understanding symbolism include biological, cultural, and psychological attributes. The study finds that understanding symbolism enables a deeper insight into the unconscious contents expressed by the human psyche through symbols, thus allowing for wider application in clinical counseling cases. 本论文以荣格心理学为基础，对蟾蜍象征意义进行研究。以笔者梦的意象为起点，研究蟾蜍在人类心灵中形成象征的多元复杂因素。理解象征的维度包括生物属性、文化属性及心理学属性。研究发现，通过对象征的理解，可以更深入地了解人类心灵通过象征表达的无意识内容，由此可以在临床咨询案例中获得更广泛的应用。
