• Abstract: As a traditional folk activity, the Xiangxi Market Day carries profound cultural heritage and embodies a wealth of physics knowledge. This paper analyzes the physical phenomena present in the Xiangxi Market Day activities and explores the application of traditional folk activities in secondary school physics teaching. For example, the Miao antiphonal singing demonstrates the production and transmission of sound, while the recreation of “throwing straw markers” enables a concrete analysis of the composition and decomposition of motion. Introducing folk activities such as the Xiangxi Market Day into physics teaching helps stimulate students’ interest in learning and enhances their sense of identification with local culture. 湘西赶场作为一种传统民俗活动，承载着深厚的文化底蕴，同时也蕴含着丰富的物理知识。本文分析湘西赶场活动中的物理现象，探索传统民俗活动在中学物理教学中的应用，如苗歌对唱展现声音的产生与传播、再现“掷草标”具体分析运动的合成与分解。在物理教学中引入湘西赶场等民俗活动有利于激发学生的学习兴趣，增强学生对本土文化的认同感。
