  • Abstract: This paper outlines an innovative curriculum cluster designed to address the urgent societal demand for composite, interdisciplinary talents capable of advancing the “dual-carbon” strategy in China (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality). This educational case study establishes a three-dimensional resource network composed of an authoritative textbook, an open-access online introductory course, and two advanced offline practical platforms. By utilizing a three-stage advanced flipped classroom model (comprising pre-class asynchronous acquisition, in-class diagnosis and refinement of case studies, and post-class collaborative inquiry), the pedagogical focus successfully transitions from teacher-centric lecturing to student-centric competency building. Crucially, the curriculum circumvents the traditional disconnect between academic discovery and undergraduate training by directly integrating high-impact frontier research outputs and real-world multi-source observation datasets into classroom exercises. Empirical results demonstrate profound educational efficacy, as reflected by a 90% proficiency rate in autonomous regional carbon accounting, optimal student evaluation scores, and the transformation of classroom deliverables into competitive national innovation projects and patents. This framework presents a robust, scalable, and highly reproducible methodology for climate change and carbon neutrality education across global higher education institutions.
