Analysis of the Origin and Development of Jung’s Archetypal Thought

  • Abstract: As a fundamental existence in Jung’s analytical psychology system, the creation and development of archetypal thought are influenced by Jung’s ethnic background, family environment, as well as his personality traits and professional experiences. At the same time, when Jung constructed his archetypal thought, he was also influenced by various ideological trends in his era, including the philosophies of Kant, Schopenhauer, and Schelling, as well as Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. In addition, Jung’s archetypal thought can also be found in Western traditional philosophical and religious thoughts. In the post-Jung era, archetypal thought shows a development trend of the debate between biological evolutionism and emergence models at the genetic level. Following this context, clarifying the origin and development of Jung’s archetypal thought from shallow to deep has important significance at both theoretical and applied levels.作为荣格分析心理学体系中基石性的存在,原型思想的创建与发展,受到荣格民族背景、家庭环境,及其人格特质和职业经历之影响;同时,荣格构建其原型思想时,亦受所处时代中诸思想潮流之影响,包括康德、叔本华、谢林之哲学,以及弗洛伊德之精神分析理论;此外,荣格之原型思想亦可在西方传统哲学与宗教思想中找到出处。后荣格时代,原型思想在发生学层面上呈现出生物学进化论和涌现模型二者之争论的发展态势。依此脉络,由浅入深地厘清荣格原型思想创立、发展之源流,具有理论与应用双重层面的重要意义。

Enlightening with Propriety in the State of Ignorance —An Analysis of the Educational Thought of “Liezi Seeking the Tao”

  • Abstract: This paper analyzes the educational thought of the story of “Liezi seeking the Tao” in the Taoist classic “Liezi”, and points out that it reflects the Taoist educational ideal model of “teaching without words” and the secondary model of “taking advantage of opportunities and responding to things in an unfixed way”. At the same time, examining this story from the perspective of the Meng hexagram in “I Ching”, it reveals that its educational thought is in line with the Meng hexagram, which is specifically manifested in the “timely moderation” principle of teaching methods and the thoughts of “encompassing ignorance” and “enlightening ignorance”; the qualities of “sincerity”, “reverence”, “perseverance” and so on in students’ learning; and the “corresponding aspiration” in the teacher-student relationship. This educational thought can provide inspiration and help for current educational practice activities.本文对道家经典《列子》中“列子求道”故事所蕴含的教育思想进行分析,指出其反映了“不言之教”的道家教育理想模式与“投隙抵时,应事无方”的次级模式。同时从《周易》蒙卦的视角出发审视该故事,揭示其教育思想与蒙卦相合,具体表现为教学方式的“时中”原则与“包蒙”“发蒙”思想、学生学习的“诚”“敬”“坚”等品质,以及师生关系的“志应”等。“列子求道”的教育思想能够对当下的教育实践活动有所启示和助益。

转化与疗愈——电影《武状元苏乞儿》中的“智慧老人”原型分析

Transformation and Healing —An Analysis of the “Wise Old Man” Archetype in the Film “King of Beggars”

  • Abstract: This article uses the “wise old man” archetype theory in Jung’s analytical psychology as a tool to conduct a psychological analysis of the character “Hong Riqing” in the film “King of Beggars”. The analysis reveals that the character Hong Riqing is the archetypal image of the wise old man in the collective unconscious mind of the protagonist Su Can. He appears when the individual encounters a mental predicament and is unable to heal themselves, providing guidance and facilitating the transformation and healing in the process of their mental individuation. The archetypal image of the wise old man, Hong Riqing in the film, has the image characteristics of the integration of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism in the context of traditional Chinese culture, and its transformation and healing functions are manifested in various stages and scenes such as “testing”, “initial”, “cognition”, “dreaming”, and “transformation” in psychotherapy.本文以荣格分析心理学中的“智慧老人”原型理论为工具,对电影《武状元苏乞儿》中的“洪日庆”这一角色进行心理分析。分析揭示出,洪日庆这一角色是主角苏灿集体无意识心灵中的智慧老人原型意象,其在个体遭遇心灵困境难以自愈时现身,为其提供指引,促成其心灵自性化过程中的转化与疗愈。电影中的洪日庆这一智慧老人原型意象具有中国传统文化背景下儒释道三者合一的形象特征,其转化与疗愈功能在心理治疗之“检验”“初始”“认知”“入梦”“转化”等诸阶段和诸场景中都有所体现。

一例中学生自杀事件的危机干预 ——“家-校-社区-机构”四位一体应对机制的实践

Crisis Intervention in a Case of Middle School Student Suicide — Practical Implementation of the Integrated Response Mechanism of “Family-School-Community-Institution”

  • Abstract: This study reports a case of psychological crisis intervention in a middle school girl’s attemptedsuicide. After the incident, the school, community, family, and professional psychological serviceinstitutions worked together to promptly and effectively complete the psychological intervention workfor the party involved and her parents, as well as relevant teachers and classmates in the school. At thesame time, various measures were taken to ensure the party’s safe and smooth return to school. This case demonstrates the importance and effectiveness of the integrated response system of “family-schoolcommunity-institution” in the psychological crisis intervention work of middle school students, andsuggests that in the process of crisis intervention, attention should be paid to the comprehensiveness ofthe work objects and the continuity of the work scope.本研究报告了一例中学女生自杀未遂事件的心理危机干预案例。事件发生后,学校、社区、家庭、专业心理服务机构四方联动,及时有效地完成了对当事人及其家长,以及学校相关老师、同学的心理干预工作。同时多措并举,保证了当事人安全顺利返校。本案例凸显了在中学生心理危机干预工作中,“家庭-学校-社区-机构”四位一体应对体系的重要性与有效性,并提示在危机干预过程中,需重视工作对象的全面性和工作范畴的持续性。

母亲相似面孔影响吸引力评价的实验及来自 ERPs 的佐证

Mother-Similar Faces Affecting Facial Attractiveness Evaluation and the Evidence from ERPs

  • Abstract: The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effect of similar faces in mothers on facial attractiveness. The research selectively recruited 15 male college student volunteers, whose ages ranging from 19 to 26, as participants, and followed a 2 [facial type: father or mother] ×2[similarity type: similar (55%) or not similar (45%)] double-factor within-subject experiment design. The dependent factor indicators are: (1) the reaction time for the participants to score the facial picture’s attractiveness; (2) the attractiveness score the participants assign to the facial picture; (3) the average amplitude of the ERP components (N100, N170, VPP, and P300). The results showed that male college students rated the attractiveness of similar faces of their mothers significantly higher than that of non-similar faces, and the response time was shorter. At the same time, the study used the event correlation potential technique (ERPs) to investigate the EEG indicators of the subjects’ behavioral responses. The results showed that: (1) the amplitude of components VPP and P300 induced by faces similar to themother was significantly higher than that induced by faces not similar to the mother; (2) in terms of N100, N170, VPP and P300 components, the mother's face type image induced a stronger ERP effect than the father's face type image.本研究旨在证明母亲相似面孔对面孔吸引力评价的影响:研究选取 15 名男大学生为被试,要求对母亲相似面孔、母亲不相似面孔、父亲相似面孔、 父亲不相似面孔,以及控制组的面孔照片进行面孔吸引力评价,记录其反应时 指标。结果显示:男大学生对母亲相似面孔的吸引力评价显著高于不相似面孔, 反应时也更短。研究同时运用事件相关电位技术(ERPs)考察被试做出行为反 应时的脑电指标,结果显示:(1)与母亲相似面孔诱发的 VPP、P300 成分的波 幅显著高于与母亲不相似的面孔;(2)在 N100、N170、VPP 和 P300 成分上, 母亲面孔类型图片比父亲面孔类型图片诱发出更强的 ERP 效应。
